In my Christmas stocking this year, I got a few little Soap & Glory goodies. Soap & Glory is probably my favourite make for body butter, lotions etc, just because all the products are so pretty and smell so delicious.

The first thing I opened was 'The Righteous Butter' which is probably one of the most popular Soap & Glory products. I've repurchased this a few times before just because it's so lovely. The flavour of it is shea butter and aloe vera but honestly it smells so much more amazing than it sounds. I love using it after having a bath because it gives a really smooth, refreshing feeling and the fresh scent lingers all day.

The next thing I opened was the 'Hand Maid' hand cleansing gel, in other words, hand sanitizer. I do like to use hand sanitizer as I can be a bit of a germ freak and it's always nice to give your hands a quick refresh. Most hand sanitizers don't smell great and can smell a bit alcohol-y, but this one is far from that. It's described as fresh, fruity and floral scented which is spot on. It's sort of like a nice sweet grapefruit smell. On top of that, it's in a cute little bottle which will fit in your bag easily and it's pink!

The last Soap & Glory product I got was another body butter but this time it was the 'Daily smooth amazingly effective dry skin formula body butter'..wow that was a mouthful. This one has a slightly thicker consistency than the righteous butter as it's mainly for dry skin e.g. knees, elbows and toes. It definitely leaves the skin lovely and smooth and of course it smells absolutely delicious. It's flavoured with rose-hip seed oil and cocoa butter which make a super combination.

Have you guys got any Soap & Glory products?

For Christmas this year my brother got me the One Direction fragrance set which also comes with the body lotion.. best brother or what?!! I was extremely happy with this because I've been wanting the fragrance since it came out. I just think perfume is something that is kind of weird to buy for yourself. It's more of a present thing..might just be me?

Anyway I think a lot of people kind of get the impression that it's going to smell really tacky and cheap, but I can honestly say it really doesn't. I'm probably not the best person at describing scents but I'd say it's quite fruity and sweet, but also ever so slightly musky which balances the sweetness perfectly. The body lotion pretty much smells exactly the same so by wearing the lotion and the fragrance, it helps to make the smell last for much longer. Saying that though, the fragrance actually lingers for a very long time unlike some other fragrances out there.

I think the bottle is really cute and feminine. The only thing that I think kind of ruins it, is the pink netting at the top. It's not terrible but I just think it kind of cheapens the look of it. Overall though, it's a really girly, lovely smelling perfume and I think most girls would agree with me :)

Did any of you get the One Direction fragrance for Christmas?

So it gets to December, the month of buying presents for other people, and what do I do?
Go and spend a large amount of money on myself of course! To be fair I hadn't actually bought myself anything for a while.. well kinda!

I treated myself to;

MOTO Mottled Bleach Joni Jeans- Bleach Stone £36

Everytime I buy a pair of Topshop jeans I'm thinking to myself this WILL be the last pair but it never is because they're so amazing. Soon I'm going to have the whole range I swear haha! These one's are great because the bleachy-acidy wash makes them a bit more statement, so perfect for wearing with simple/plain tops.

Petite Biker Jacket £45

I've been wanting a leather jacket for ages and was toying with buying it a while ago when it was around £56? As soon as I saw the price had been reduced I simply couldn't resist. Plus it has fur and who doesn't love a bit of fur?!

Petite Boxy Fur Gilet- Mink £65

This was quite a splurge but it's literally so beeeaautiful. Perfect for winter and all snug.. can you tell I love fur at the moment?!

What have you guys treated yourself to this month?

So as a lot of you will probably know, this Monday Midnight Memories, One Directions new album, was released. Now unless you've been living under a rock for the past few years, you will know One Direction have pretty much taken over the world in boy band terms, and let's face it... they truly deserve it!
I know I've only had the album for a few days but OH MY GOD it's literally amazing. There's so many catchy new songs and I love how some of the songs are more pop-ish and then some are more edgy. Definitely worth buying!

I got the ultimate edition deluxe CD album from the One Direction store, if you were wondering.

Hi lovelies :)

Bit of a different kind of post today but I was rather proud of my gingerbread house hehe. Most weekends, I go with my Mum to work at the hotel both my parents run (The Forresters Hotel). I make a lot of desserts and sweet things at the hotel because I love to bake. Since it's heading towards Christmas, my Mum thought it would be a good idea if I made a gingerbread house to display in the dessert cabinet. I'd never made one before so I thought I would give it a whirl!

I thought it was going to be tricky, but they're actually super easy to make. I used BBC Good Food's recipe for a simple gingerbread house. The recipe has a little template you can print out so basically all you do is make the gingerbread dough and cut it into the pieces on the template. Then once you've cooked your gingerbread pieces and they've cooled, you just assemble it and start decorating. I assembled mine with super thick glacé icing and then put it into the freezer to firm up. Then to decorate it I used white chocolate buttons, strawberry chocolate buttons, milk chocolate buttons and  chocolate truffles. The windows and door are made of white chocolate and the little lollipops at the side are circles of spare gingerbread, dipped in chocolate and then sprinkles. Yummy or what! To give it that last Christmasy look I covered the cake board in thick white icing to look like snow and then used little buttons to create a foot path.

Anyway, I hope you like my little gingerbread house and tell me what you think! Festive baking is so much more fun than regular baking.

Hey everyone!

This weeks theme for #BritishBloggerSelection is to do a post answering some questions that are about us. I think this is a cute way that people who actually happen to read my blog can find out a bit more about me.

Question 1: Why do you like blogging? Personally I find blogging such a fun hobby because It's a way of me sharing my huge love of clothes, beauty, etc. To be honest, I don't really have any other proper hobbies (except shopping) so I find blogging something really fun to do in my spare time.

Question 2: How did you come up with your blog name? Well the 'Rachel' part is obviously my first name and I wanted to include my name in my blog name. I've loved the name 'Coco' ever since I always used to sneak my Mum's Coco Chanel perfume when I was little. So put them together and Rachel Coco was formed!

Question 3: Where from the UK do you come from? York.

Question 4: Favourite colour? I like pink but I actually don't have a lot of pink stuff at all. My bedroom is cream and browny colour which I quite like.

Question 5: Do you like Lana Del Ray? I'm not a crazy fan but I do love the 'Summertime Sadness' remix.

Question 6: Hidden talents that you have? Ermmm I'm so boring, I literally don't think I have any hidden talents apart from the fact that I have extremely neat hand writing.. exciting, I know!

Question 7: Celebrity crush? Harry styles, Harry Styles, HARRY STYLES ARGHHHHH!

Question 8: Favourite blog of all time? I know this seems quite cliché, but I do love Zoella's blog and can proudly say I've actually been reading it waaaay before she started doing Youtube videos and got ultra popular.

Question 9: What made you join #BritishBloggerSelection? Well I've only recently started my blog and I thought it would be a great way to be part of something, get my blog out there, and make some blog friends.

And that's all the questions! If you don't know what #BritishBloggerSelection is, or you want to get involved, just check out my post here which tells you how you can be part of it.
Thanks for reading.

Hey everyone!
As most people reading this probably know, this week has been half term, woo! Yesterday I persuaded my Mum to take me shopping which is always good. It turned out to be such a successful shopping trip.

I managed to find a black, bodycon midi dress in Topshop. I've been wanting one of these for quite a while but they never seemed to have my size when I looked before. I was so happy when I found it was the last one and it was in my size! It was £28 which I think is amazing for Topshop and the fact it's something I will be wearing a lot.

Now for my favourite purchase... the Topshop heels!  I've been wanting some Topshop shoes that have a chunky heel for ages and I finally decided to bite the bullet and buy some. No joke, I've literally never been so in love with a pair of shoes before! They were £56 which is a lot but definitely worth it. I was tempted with the one's that have a brown heel but I decided to go with black since they will go with absolutely everything.

Then I went a bit shoe crazy and decided to get some little black boots from River island. They were £38.99, so not too bad and they'll be great for wearing to sixth form since they'll give me that little extra height.

Then I picked up a few items from Boots. I got some clearasil daily gel wash which was £5.99. I've never tried this product before but my skin keeps breaking out so I'm in search for something to give me clear skin. I also got some John Frieda Luxurious volume shampoo which was also £5.99 and some Schwarzkopf got2be volumising styling powder which was £2.99, because I love my hair when it's all volumised!

Hope you're having a good half term :)

Thanks for reading
