I went shopping last week without needing anything in particular, just fancied a little browse as you do. I spotted these beauties in Topshop after admiring this style of chunky/booty/buckley style shoe for a while (I'm not great with descriptions).

Of course, they were a complete impulse buy and as soon as I saw them, I had to have them! These are the 'MEGA Cut Out Buckle Boots' and they were only £38, which I think is actually quite cheap for a pair of Topshop shoes. I love how they have a little heel for extra height, even though they're just as comfy as regular flats. I will obviously be wearing these a LOT as they look great with skinny jeans and a pair of frilly socks which is pretty much what I live in!

The other day I decided to invest in a few Soap & Glory make up goodies as I've never actually tried any of their make up products before. I have to admit, it was mainly the packaging that drew me in, as it's so pretty and girly.. and let's face it, I'm a sucker for anything pretty and girly! Both products retail at £11, however Boots have a 'buy one get one half price deal' on so I got both for £16.50.

The first product that I went for was the 'Solar Powder Mix And Match Multi-Shade Bronzer' which is basically a pressed powder bronzer/highlighter, in the colour Bronzo (I'm not actually sure if they make any different shades of it. As you can see the compact comes with a little mirror in it and the casing itself is really high quality. The bronzer itself isn't too dark or orange which prevents that fake tan look some bronzers can give. I have quite a pale complexion so this product just helps to make me look slightly more bronzed without over doing it. Used to contour, this product is really good for defining your cheekbones and I would definitely recommend.

The next product I chose was 'Peach Party' which is described as a multi-colour blush brick, in the shade 'Apricot Jam'. Again, the compact has a little mirror in it which is great and the casing is of high quality. I love how this blush has so many different shades as when you use one solid colour it can sometimes look a bit harsh on your cheeks. I use the paler colours as a highlight on my cheeks which really helps to contour and define my face, and the darker colours help to brighten up my pale complexion.

I was really pleased with both of these products. I think they're quite high quality for the price that they are and I will definitely be using both of these regularly from now on.

Have any of you got any Soap & Glory make up products? If so, which one's are the best?

So last Friday me and my fam went on a little mini break to London for a few days. I'm a big fan of London so I was very excited indeed. We got the train there on Friday morning which only took two hours. To be honest I think I would go to London a lot more if it wasn't for the ridiculously expensive train prices! Anyway, we all had a great time and it was nice to spend some time all together since we haven't been on holiday in a while now.

We did lots of shopping, saw lots of sites and of course ate a LOT of yummy food! We stayed in a lovely hotel called The Marriott which was right by the London eye, so had quite a pretty view out the window. On the Saturday night we went to an Asian theme restaurant called Inamo that had interactive tables! It was literally incredible! You ordered everything you wanted using your table and you could also play little games while you were waiting. I would definitely recommend it if you live in or are visiting London.

One thing that I definitely love about London is the fact I get 3G literally everywhere...meaning I could tweet all day long (I know I'm a social networking geek) but yes I LOVE that. It gave me a little taster of the area I could be moving to for uni in September, Exciting stuff!

I hope you all had a lovely New Year's whether you were out partying with friends or at home watching films and eating chocolate! I went out with my friends last night and had a great time. It was so nice to see some people that I haven't seen for ageeeees. I've had a great year overall, but the highlight of it was definitely seeing One Direction, front row in March! It was a night I will never forget! Hopefully 2014 will bring lots more exciting things like uni and of course turning 18 (woah scary thought).

To be honest I'm not mega keen on New Year as saying goodbye to a year is kind of sad... It will never ever be 2013 again! :( Ohhh well what can you do! I've never really been one for new years resolutions as I think setting myself goals is something I strive to do at any time of the year!  Never the less, my sort of resolution is to take more photo's (like Monica in friends). It might sound like a silly resolution but I think it's really important because photo's hold a lot of memories.. so the more you take, the more memories you have!

I also thought I would take this opportunity to say I hit 100 Bloglovin' followers WAHOOOO! It may not seem a lot to some people but I really appreciate that 100 people have actually clicked the follow button because they like my blog!

Anyway I wish you all a very happy new year and hope all your 2014's are super duper!

What are your New years Resolutions?
