Quite a simple outfit, but you can't go wrong with a bit of monochrome! I always think wearing monochrome looks flattering because there's no harsh prints/neon shades - just simple block colours. It makes wearing something simple, look classy, yet super easy to put together. Here I've just gone with a simple 90's style vest top and a basic white skort. Obviously this could be accessorised with a black bag and a gold watch just to give it that extra flare for an evening out.

As of today I have officially been blogging for exactly a year! This means it's my blogs first bloggiversary.. Happy 1st Birthday Rachel Coco!

Over the year, I have gained an amazing amount of followers (thank you so much to all my followers for following!) and i've managed to find a hobby that I really enjoy...other than shopping of course! On top of that, it's given me some great little opportunities and allowed me to make blogger friends who I wouldn't have even known if I didn't start Rachel Coco. Next on my blogging bucket list are to go to a blogger meet up and to buy the domain name for my blog URL!

I freaking love blogging!

Floral clothes are becoming quite a common thing in my wardrobe at the moment. I just love how pretty and feminine they look.. especially this daisy print playsuit that I got from Topshop. Because it's black and not specifically a bright summery colour, I also think this playsuit would be perfect for the Autumn season coming up. Teamed with some tights, a parka and some Chelsea boots, you'd have the perfect Autumn ensemble. Ooo that reminds me, definitely need some new Chelsea boots!

Winter is coming, yay! This means super cold weather.. especially here in England. Being someone that gets cold easily, I find I pretty much live in thick jumpers every winter! Of course, there are a few I've got my eye on at the moment, but I'm sure the list will grow as shops begin to stock more through the season.

I'm loving culotte shorts at the moment. The floaty ones I'm wearing look a bit like I'm wearing a skirt, which I love, but without the hassle of wearing a skirt. So no worrying about it getting blown up by the wind or something! Because the floral print on the shorts is quite bold and vibrant, I teamed it with a simple white bardot top. The low shoulders make it look nice and dressed up - perfect for a party or something like that. Following with the white theme, I wore some white platform heels that I got from Ebay for £9.50!.. don't you just love a good Ebay bargain?!

The weather is starting to get a little colder now as fall is slowly on its way. This quite excites me as I definitely prefer winter clothes to summer clothes. There have been a lot of skirts in high street shops that I have been really loving at the moment. I also love how some (but not all) you can style to wear in winter too. Just by adding a thick pair of tights and some ankle boots, you've got yourself a winter skirt (I would say that this would work for number 1, 3, 4, 6 and 7). Other than that, this is sort of the last chance to make the most of wearing summery outfits. I think number 2 and 5 are perfect for this with their pale floral print and pastel colours.

I haven't really worn shorts for a while. In fact, the last time I wore shorts was probably a few years ago when I used to wear very VERY short shorts with tights.. cringe. I came across these blue, kind of palm print ones in Topshop. I don't know if you can see in the pictures, but the shorts have a sort of unique 'wing' thing going on. Okay I'm rubbish at explaining, but I'm sure it's a lot clearer on the picture of them on the website. I teamed them with a white ribbed crop top, also from Topshop, and a semi statement necklace (Can't remember where I got it from). Not too casual, but not too dressed up, I think this combo would be perfect for going out for drinks or something like that.

I've been using this mascara for a while now and I freaking love it. Not only because it's Chanel.. (although that does make it sound even classier), but because it adds so much volume to my lashes. The brush really separates each lash making them stand out and look really defined. What I love about this mascara is the fact that it's waterproof, however, unlike other waterproof mascara's, it's actually really easy to remove when you want to take your make up off.

At £25 it's quite expensive, but that's just the price you pay for Chanel I guess!

The one I have been using is in number 10, Noir, which is literally just black. I don't know about anyone else, but when it comes to mascara, black is the only colour. I'm not a fan of dark browns or anything like that as they seem to just not look as good as wearing a strong jet black.
